The idea of a beginner’s ultramarathon plan might sound like an oxymoron – few step up to the start line for the first time with the aim of running further than 42km. This plan aims to give you the necessary building blocks to get you across the finish line of your first ultra in an enjoyable way.

Lactate Threshold Testing

By assessing blood lactate thresholds we can establish training zones, for metrics such as power, speed, pace and heart rate. This allows us to develop a tailored training plan for your specific needs in order to reach your desired goal.
